New Charter School Applicants: Please send a Letter of Intent to Hernando County Schools District Support Complex (District Office), Charter Schools Coordinator, Jeff Yungmann, no later than July 5, 2013. Contact information is at the bottom of this page.The Deadline for the 2013 Charter Application is 4 P.M. August 1, 2013

Hernando County School District does not currently provide a Charter School Applicant Training or Orientation Training, but Board approved Charter applicants “shall participate in governance training. The charter school governance training must meet the requirements of this rule (6A-6.0784) and be approved” by the Florida Department of Education [pursuant to 1002.33(9)(J)4, F.S.].
