Linda Prescott, Vice Chair
Ms. Linda Prescott was elected to the Hernando County School in November 2016. She brings with her an extensive career in academia having taught in middle and high school, community college and university students in business and computer courses for over 40 years. In addition to serving on Business Advisory Committees as Program Manager, Cluster Chair, and Faculty Liaison to College Foundation Board, Ms. Prescott has also developed and taught hybrid and online courses.
With a strong commitment to community service and environmental organizations, Ms. Prescott remains an honorary member of the Spring Hill Rotary Club and has served on the Hernando County Environmentally Sensitive Lands Committee, Comprehensive Plan Review Committee, and Capital Outlay Committee. Currently serving on the Hernando Beach Homeowners Association Government Affairs Committee, Board Member of the Gulf Coast Conservancy, and is a member of the Sierra Club.
