Hernando County School District Master Inservice Plan
The Florida Department of Education requires each school district to develop and maintain an inservice training program for all employees based on assessment of training needs in the district and local schools as described in Florida Statute 1012.98. The Master Inservice Plan for educational training must be updated annually and approved each year by the school board (State Board Rule 6-A5.071).
The plan must include all inservice educational components for all employees from all fund sources. Educational components must address the following areas: professional development activities for implementation of school improvement plans; specific inservice components; inservice training for school reform and accountability; approved add-on certification programs; district management training programs; and professional and technical training for vocational instructional personnel.
Below is the current Hernando County School District's Master Inservice Plan and the revisions document explaining the changes made to the update.
