Mandatory School Uniform Policy 2019-20

  • Uniform Attire:
    Plain, solid-color, polo shirt in any color. Shirts should be without logos unless the logo is an Official School Logo. Students may wear polo shirts with same color crochet trim and/or white button front shirts with collar.

    Plain, solid-color pants, capris, skorts or shorts are to be Uniform-Style and should be navy blue, black, or khaki in color. Jumpers may be straight or with pleated skirt. All items must be long enough to reach mid-thigh. Jean pants and shorts may be worn, but must be appropriate length and no rips or tears.

    Shorts and pants are to be the appropriate size for the child. Shorts that are baggy and fall below the knee are NOT appropriate. If items are bought to accommodate the child’s growth over several months, the bottoms must be hemmed to the proper length.

    Note:
    Cargo/carpenter pants or shorts, sweatpants, parachute bottoms, overalls, or bottoms that hang below the waistline will NOT be permitted.

    Shoes:
    Shoes must have closed toe and heel. Athletic shoes are acceptable. Platform shoes, stacked heels, clogs, or shoes without backs are NOT Permitted.

    Cold Weather Uniforms:
    Sweaters or sweatshirts may be worn OVER polo shirts and left on the entire day as long as they are plain and solid in color. Plain, solid colored turtlenecks are allowed under uniform polo shirts. All cold weather uniform items must be worn with uniform bot-toms. Jackets may be any style as long as there is NO aggressive, suggestive, angry graphics or pictures.

    Participating Business:
    Local businesses, such as Wal-Mart, Dollar General, Sears, Bealls, J.C. Penney, and Target carry uniform items.
