SCHOOL DISTRICT ANNOUNCES STAFF CHANGES
Effective July 1, 2020 Hernando School District will make the following changes to staff assignments:
- Michael Maine will leave his position as Senior Recruiter to serve as principal of Eastside Elementary
- Maureen Keiper will move from assistant principal of Deltona Elementary to district ESE Coordinator
- Mildred Murrman will move to Weeki Wachee High as assistant principal
- Assistant principal, Julie Sweeney, will move from West Hernando Middle to Deltona Elementary
- Assistant principal, Stacey Swihart, will move from Weeki Wachee High to West Hernando Middle
“Leaders in our school district are committed to student success. Each of these administrators has specific strengths that will serve their new school well. I appreciate their professionalism and look forward to a strong kick-off to the school year when we return,” Superintendent John Stratton said.
