The School Choice Office provides options for students. The following school choice options are under its umbrella:

• Home Education
• Controlled School Choice
• Charter Schools
• Magnet Programs
• Foreign Exchange Program

Lists are updated when a seat becomes available. In order for movement to occur on the waiting lists, families have to refuse a seat offer or withdraw their student from the school.

Magnet School Notifications will be sent from the SchoolMint platform. You will not receive a phone call from the school you applied to or the District Office. Notification will be in the form of a text and/or an email sent to the contact information you included in your student's application.

If you have been made an offer, you have 5 working days to accept your student's seat. If you do not accept your student's seat, the seat will be withdrawn. If you are offered more than one high school program, you must select one program and decline remaining offered programs within the same 5 day period. If you do not select a program offer, the offer will be withdrawn.

If you have been put on a waitlist your status will look like this WL-## the hashtags will indicate your waitlist number.
