In an effort to be accountable to our community, Hernando School District formed the Citizens Accountability Committee. This group of volunteers meets quarterly with district staff to review information on current capital projects and develop reports for the School Board concerning project status, progress, and spending. The mission of the committee is to ensure full transparency in the use of sales tax proceeds.
