The Maintenance Department is dedicated to maintaining the physical environment and providing related services to support the school district in reaching its goal of excellence in public education. The vision is met by making knowledge based decisions while executing work orders, preventative maintenance (PM) and life cycle replacements. In doing so, Maintenance Department personnel deliver operational excellence to meet and exceed all commitments with our customers.

The guiding principles for implementing the Maintenance Department vision, include:

• Recognize and acknowledge the need to optimize energy performance, protect and conserve water, enhance indoor environmental quality and reduce environmental impact of materials
• Through continuous measurable improvement in service, define excellence as the standard, not the exception
• To be a workplace where the atmosphere of trust encourages creativity and innovation
