Hernando Department of Health

The school district employs over 3,100 staff and 166 of them meet the age requirement.

“We have developed a strong collaborative relationship with the Department of Health over the last year. When we asked them to help prioritize our frontline workers and our older staff, they made it happen. That means a great deal to many of our staff including school bus drivers, food service team, health professionals and our teachers who serve students everyday,” Superintendent, John Stratton said.
