Spring Hill, FL — The Hernando County Education Foundation (HCEF) is excited to announce that we’re moving to a new home at 5404 Applegate Drive in Spring Hill, Florida! This relocation marks an exciting new chapter for the Foundation as we continue to grow, evolve, and expand our impact across Hernando County Schools.
While our team works to unpack, organize, and settle into our new space, some Foundation operations will be temporarily paused, but we assure you, it’s all in the name of progress. Our new location will allow us to better serve our teachers, students, and community partners with improved accessibility, expanded resources, and room to grow.
For over 30 years, HCEF has been dedicated to strengthening public education by connecting community resources with classroom needs. Through the generosity of local businesses, community partners, and individual donors, the Foundation provides programs and support that make a lasting difference, including:

• Teacher and Classroom Grants that bring innovative projects to life.
• Student Scholarships that help open doors to college and career opportunities.
• Take Stock in Children — providing mentoring and tuition scholarships to deserving students.
• Operation Cinderella Boutique — helping make prom dreams come true for students in need.
• Suncoast Credit Union Angel Tree Program — brightening the holidays for local families.
• Teacher of the Year & School-Related Employee of the Year Celebrations — recognizing the outstanding dedication of our educators and staff.
• Career Exploration and STEM Learning Initiatives — preparing students for high-skill, high-wage careers of the future.
• Tools 4 Schools Teacher Supply Store – providing Hernando County teachers with free classroom supplies to ensure every student has what they need to learn.
• Turnaround Student Recognition Program – celebrating students who have shown tremendous growth, perseverance, and determination in overcoming challenges.
• Career Exploration and STEM Learning Initiatives – preparing students for the future with hands-on, real-world opportunities.

Our mission has always been clear: to invest in our students, support our teachers, and inspire our community. This move will help us do just that, in bigger, bolder ways than ever before.

We’re incredibly grateful for your continued support and patience during this transition, and we’re thrilled to invite everyone to join us for our upcoming Grand Opening Celebration. It will be a community-wide event to showcase the new space, share what’s ahead, and celebrate education in Hernando County.
