Celebrating Our Staff
In Hernando Schools, we have 38 outstanding assistant principals. These educators and school leaders are instrumental in their school’s success. With an extensive job description, our hardworking administrators bring flexibility, patience and an understanding of students at all stages of their development. Together, with the school principal, assistant principals manage a wide variety of important day-to-day functions that provide students with a safe and effective instructional experience. They serve students, parents and staff each day with humor, integrity, enthusiasm and pride. And, it shows.
This week is National Assistant Principals’ Week. Please join me, the members of our School Board and the leadership team in sending our appreciation and gratitude to these incredible school leaders! I encourage everyone to find a moment this week and offer a few words of support to your amazing assistant principal. Chocolate is never a bad idea either.
