The agritechnology program covers a broad range of topics including instruction in animal and plant production and processing; agriculture marketing; agricultural mechanics; employability skills; mathematics; basic science; biological sciences; communications; and human-relations skills.

Veterinary Assisting covers topics that include, but are not limited to broad, transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the following elements of the veterinary assisting industry: planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, underlying principles of technology, labor issues, community issues and health, safety and environmental issues. The program also provides supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed as veterinary assistants.

Students in Digital Cinema will learn about topics in communication skills, leadership skills, human relations and employability skills, safe and efficient work practices, and preparation to assume responsibility for overall production of digital video activities including: scripts, lighting, camera operation, electronic news gathering, field/studio production, and video editing.

Topics in the Digital Design program include, but are not limited to, enhanced practical experiences in computer-generated art and text, graphic design, graphic production, digital design skills, preparation of digital layouts and illustrations, scanning, and the development of specialized multimedia presentations.

The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment as writers, editors, and multimedia journalists (SOC 27-3041, 27-4021).  This program provides a medium whereby the student will be given the opportunity for practical hands-on experiences that incorporate academic skills into a real life situation. It also familiarizes individuals with journalistic writing, script writing, graphic communications, desktop publishing, multimedia production, photojournalism, and investigative reporting.

This program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Hospitality & Tourism career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higherorder reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the Hospitality & Tourism career cluster.
