  • National Honor Society Peer Tutoring
    • The National Honor Society and IB Peer Tutoring Program is an excellent resource for students to access individual tutoring with a peer. To request a peer tutor, please scan the QR code on this Flyer and your request will be submitted.
  • Algebra I Bootcamps: Throughout the year and over the summer, Algebra 1 bootcamps will be offered. Usually short in duration, they are not all year round.  They focus on helping students gain the math skills required to pass a Math Graduation Test (Algebra 1 EOC, Geometry GEO, PSAT Math, SAT Math, ACT Math).  To find out about the next bootcamp, ask your math teacher or school counselor.        
  • Grade Repair- Grade repair is a practice that may be offered to help a student earn a passing grade for failed assignments and/or assessments while enrolled in the course. However, any assignments or assessments completed through grade repair can receive a maximum grade of 70%. Any failing grade due to a Code of Conduct violation (i.e. cheating, plagiarism, etc) or failure to submit assigned work may not be repaired. Students interested in grade repair should discuss opportunities for grade repair with their teacher.
  • Khan Academy is also a widely used online resource for tutoring. 
    • Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
    • They can tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more.
    • Khan Academy also has free SAT Prep.
    • Khan Academy lessons guide learners from kindergarten skills to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps.
