Online Learning

Hernando County students have access to two online class platforms: Hernando County Eschool and Florida Virtual School.  Hernando County Eschool tends to be the most preferred, given the teachers are all here locally in Hernando County.  In some instances students will take an online class on Florida Virtual School, usually in the instances where the class the student wants to take is not available on Hernand ESchool.  Below is more information about each.

If you are interested in enrolling with Hernando Eschool Full-Time or FLVS Full-Time for next school year, their application periods are listed below:

  • Hernando Eschool Full-Time: Opens April 17, 2024 and closes on July 6th.
  • FLVS Full-Time: Opens June 3, 2024 and closing date not available, please refer to their website.
