Springstead School Counseling Office
Mission:
The mission of the Springstead High School Counseling Program is to lead all students to achieve college and/or career readiness standards. Our school counselors collaborate with students, parents, families, teachers, school-based leadership and other stakeholders to meet each student's unique needs. Our school counselors challenge students to identify personal strengths that can be applied to achieve their academic, career, personal/social and emotional goals. School counselors also challenge students explore their passions, interests, and talents while assisting students with breaking down real or imagined barriers. Outcomes of our school counseling program include increased engagement, continued growth and goal attainment.
We have an open door policy.
- Students do not need an appointment to see their counselor, just come on in. However, having an appointment can decrease your wait time and ensure your counselor is available when you come up.
- Parents, on most days we are available for walk-in appointments with parents. However, previosuly schedules appointments, meetings and emergencies can sometimes result in a bit of a wait in our lobby if you are walking in. Booking an appointment online can ensure we are available to meet with you once you are on campus. Making an appointment will push you to the front of any walk-ins, so it is always favorable to do so.
